Preparing for a Career in Instructional Design and Learning Technology
In this session, participants will learn how AU's M.S. in Instructional Design and Learning Technology degree prepares them for a number of career options that they may not even realize as available to them and the specific skills and tools that are part of the degree. Participants will be introduced to faculty in the program to answer questions, and a sample online course in the degree will be demonstrated.

Please note: Credit will not be given for 30-minute sessions.

Meeting the Mathematics Needs of 21st-Century Students with Math Techbook™
Join us for lunch and learn how to engage all students in deep mathematical thinking, modeling, and application using digital media and web 2.0 tools as they develop conceptual understanding and mathematical fluency with real-world problems. Participants capitalize on best practices by learning how to facilitate active, inquiry-based classrooms where students take control of their learning.

Online Software to Supplement Elementary Language Arts
The HearBuilder software series provides research-based, online programs to help PreK-3rd grade students with the foundational skills needed to meet the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts. The theory and research behind these supplemental programs will be reviewed, software will be demonstrated, data collection reports will be presented, and research study results will be shared.
