Never before has the ability to bring the arts into your classroom been as easy as it is now. As a teacher in an arts integrated school, I will show you how technology can open the door to the arts in your classroom. Learn techniques and strategies that allow your students to engage their minds on a whole new level. We will work with several different technology platforms to bring the arts upclose and personal. Session will provide strategies and lesson plans that are ready to implement immediately.

This session will consist of easy ways to incorporate technology into the general music classroom. If technology has you feeling overwhelmed, this session will give you some ideas, using technology, to get your technology teaching organized. Topics addressed will be educational music apps, software that can get your students excited about music, and social networking that will enhance your overall music education experience. Be sure and bring your laptop and a device if you have one!

Are you sick of students misplacing notebooks, ripping out pages, or having their notebooks fall apart? Interactive notebooks are getting a make- over and a face lift. Digital interactive notebooks allow teachers to take common practice and and maximize it according to 21st century demands. Participants will learn how to digitize their notebooking ideas and how to integrate other core subjects using Google Slides as our notebook. We will learn to use Google Slides and Google Drawings that will make your life easier and will spark your creativity. I promise you will not be able to stop thinking of ways you can implement content in this digital treasure box.
