Registering for a Sched account or selecting classes is for participant convenience only and DOES NOT grant admittance into the conference or individual sessions. All participants must be registered for the conference through Eventbrite and sessions are first-come, first-serve at the conference.
Entrepeneur.com published an article that says the top reasons people get fired is that they lack soft skills, aka: communication, collaboration, time management, adaptability, critical thinking, etc. Not having these skills is getting a lot of people fired, and there is nothing soft about getting fired! Instead, let's call them essential skills. This workshop is about how to emphasize these essential skills in the classroom, from designing daily collaborative activities to teaching students how to adapt to new technologies, all to prepare students to enter the modern workforce ready to survive and thrive.
