A link to the online UTC 2019 Session Catalog will be sent to all registered attendees. Registering for a Sched account or selecting classes is for participant convenience only and DOES NOT grant admittance into the conference or individual sessions. All participants must be registered for the conference through Eventbrite and sessions are first-come, first-serve at the conference.
Are you looking for a more engaging way to share information with students? Would you like to accurately and more quickly assess student thinking? In this session, we will explore Nearpod: an interactive classroom tool for teachers to engage students in lessons. We will turn a PowerPoint or Google Slides into a content platform where students can share their thinking with the teacher and their classmates in real time using their devices. Nearpod presentations engage students and hold them accountable for work. Participants should bring a device to work with Nearpod.
