Welcome to the 2019 Upstate Technology Conference!

A link to the online UTC 2019 Session Catalog will be sent to all registered attendees.  Registering for a Sched account or selecting classes is for participant convenience only and DOES NOT grant admittance into the conference or individual sessions. All participants must be registered for the conference through Eventbrite and sessions are first-come, first-serve at the conference.

Project Based Learning: Making a Family Connection

In this session, PBL projects will be shared, including Generations from 3rd grade, Olympians from 1st grade, Medical interns from 5th grade, 2nd grade Election project, and 4th grade Florida history project. Classroom teachers, administrators, specialists, and families all worked together to create a deep, meaningful learning experience for all students.
Through PBL, students will learn about artifacts, interviewing, writing deep questions, having conversations, writing skills, and effective communication.
