Teaching K-8 Computer Science Skills Without a Computer

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Many K-8 computer science skills can be taught without the use of a computer. Computational and critical thinking, collaboration with others, creative problem solving, and the ability to communicate (the 4 C’s) are all important skills learned by including computer science lessons in your classroom. This workshop will be hands on, and participants will leave with many ideas for how to incorporate these ideas in their classrooms regardless of grade level or subject area taught.
