Welcome to the 2019 Upstate Technology Conference!
A link to the online UTC 2019 Session Catalog will be sent to all registered attendees. Registering for a Sched account or selecting classes is for participant convenience only and DOES NOT grant admittance into the conference or individual sessions. All participants must be registered for the conference through Eventbrite and sessions are first-come, first-serve at the conference.
Breakout rooms are collaborative, engaging ways to teach a variety of concepts, but the materials needed to simulate this in your classroom can be expensive. Using Google Slides and Forms to create breakouts is a game changer! In this active session, participants will see examples of these digital breakouts in several different subjects, learn how to create a digital breakout, and start building a digital breakout of their own to use in their classroom. After participating in this session, you will be able to create one of a kind digital breakouts to fit the needs of your content and students! Attendees should bring computers.
